UPCOMING PROJECTS
Making a Difference
Meghan Had A Little Lamb A Nonprofit Corporation is achieving more than ever before, and we are very proud of the progress we continue to make! The health, safety and emotional wellbeing of our residents is our top priority. The projects will allow us to offer the best forever home possible to our current residents, and will make it possible to rescue more animals in the future. Below are some of our most recent and upcoming projects.
THE FOREVER BARN 2024
The Future Looks Bright
The Barn Expansion is a dream that can come true with your help!
After rescuing our newest Resident horse Walt from a horrific situation where if we did not step in to help he would have been sent to Canada for slaughter, we here at Meghan Had A Little Lamb are more determined than ever to give this chance to more amazing horses like Walt.
Our plan is to build a 4 stall expansion plus hay storage onto our existing Barn, each stall a spacious 15'x16' with 24 hour access to our largest pasture. We can do this as soon as we reach our fundraising goal! With your help and support we will be able to rescue more horses like Walt who need a way out of the Pacific Northwest slaughter pipeline.
Together we can give more horses like Walt who have been through so much, the opportunity to live peacefully treated as equals the way they deserve.
As soon as the Barn Expansion is finished we will be able to rescue horses directly from the Pacific Northwest slaughter pipeline and give them sanctuary. Every donor will have their name, or the name of anyone they choose, engraved on a plaque which will proudly hang at the entrance of the Barn once its expanded!

THE CHICKEN COOP & ENCLOSURE
We are Almost There!
We need to Raise:
$400
The Chicken Coop & Run project has been a massive undertaking so far! We tore down an older existing chicken coop on the property to replace it with a brand new massive coop and attached 100ft outdoor enclosure to safely house our current flock of 21 Chickens, 3 Roosters and 4 Turkeys. With the Coop expansion we will be able to rescue more Chickens, Roosters, and Turkeys, in the coming months.
